Volcano’s Tom Peek, award-winning author of “Daughters of Fire,” will be “Bookseller for a Day” on Saturday at Kona Stories.
The book store in the Keauhou Shopping Center is open seven days a week, offering a wide range of books for every interest, including Hawaiiana, mind/body/spirit, and keiki books. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kona Stories also will be celebrating its eighth birthday that day.
Other “Small Business Saturday” events will include photos with the Grinch from 1-3 p.m., Brenda’s sangria, door prizes, gift wrapping and desserts by local cookbook author and nutritionist Adrienne Hew. For more info, call 324-0350.
